Gilding the Lily since 2006
View this post on Instagram Last Sunday I went to an incredible bier-game dinner collab with my two favorite sets of folks: @stammtischpdx and @nicky.usa. Chef @grahamchaney is a hedonist and a sadist so his “salad” course was basically a Lyonnaise with a giant confit @maryschicken duck leg on top. After a few beers, my true (read: Depression-era weirdo) self emerges, and so I naturally asked the kitchen to box not just my duck bones, but EVERYBODY’s. 🍗 😂 🍗The next day, I simmered the boxes of duck bones for about six hours, making a few quarts of very rich duck stock, which I then turned into the bangin’est bowl of wonton noodle soup (homemade @tailsandtrotters pork wontons). 🍖 🥟 🍲 🍗#wastenotwantnot #meatconcierge #wontonsoup #f52grams #foodblogfeed #eeeeeats #foodphotography #wontonsoup #wontons #pork #duck #dumplings #noodlesoup #chinesefood #buzzfeedfood #tasty #homemade #bokchoy A post shared by Heather Arndt Anderson (@heatherarndtanderson) on Feb 21, 2019 at 5:26pm PST
