No one’s been eating the case of oatmeal that I bought from @bobsredmill and there’s a backlog of yogurt in the fridge, so I did the logical thing that any child of the 1970s would do: I made granola. This is thick oats toasted for about 90 minutes with coconut, sunflower and black sesame seeds, flax meal, a little hazelnut oil, and sweetened with honey, brown sugar, and @portlandsyrups vanilla-rooibos syrup. When it was nice and toasty-brown I mixed in chopped dates, dried pineapple, and goji berries. We’ll be lousy with breakfast parfaits. Lousy, I tell you! #granola #hippiechow #passthemacrame #passthegodseyes #paintedrocks #bellbottoms . . . . . . #nutfree #oats #seeds #coconut #dates #gojiberries #wolfberries #superfood #lycium #f52grams #thekitchn #instafood #foodandwine #makestuff #kitchen #baking #almostvegan
