Addictive Sichuan Peanuts

These snack nuts are deceptively simple to make. Start with one of those giant cans of salted roasted peanuts like they sell at Winco or Cash & Carry, then toast them back up in a warm pan with a tiny bit of oil to help the spices stick on.

Made a huge batch of Sichuan peanut snacks. They’re so addictive! I made my own seasoning mix by grinding toasted Sichuan peppercorns, facing heaven chiles, and homemade five spice (star anise, cloves, cassia, fennel seed and white peppercorns). A little sugar, salt & MSG to make them more snackable. #snacks #nuts #hotstuff
