Gilding the Lily since 2006
View this post on Instagram I love traditional New Year foods so much: noodles for longevity, Hoppin’ John and greens for abundance and prosperity. And smoked duck broth for…well, because it’s delicious and I need to clear freezer space to make room for more creativity in 2019. The noodles are @umiorganic (obvs), the Hoppin’ John is flavored with smoky @nueskes bacon and the greens are various crucifers I scavenged from my winter garden, sautéed with bacon fat, garlic, and sesame seeds. I hope you all eat well in 2019 — don’t be afraid to try new things! A post shared by Heather Arndt Anderson (@heatherarndtanderson) on Dec 31, 2018 at 4:37pm PST
